"Where sports history meets the present"
The content of this site has two purposes: academic and personal.
Academically, I will use this site to post projects, weekly blog posts and podcasts.
However, it is the content of the site that I hope will have lasting impact that will go beyond the confines of this course.

I am currently a junior at the University of Florida working on my degree in journalism. I am current working at an internship with Gator Country covering men's tennis and track and field beats . One of the unfortunate things in the current sports culture is that people my age don't know the history behind the there favorite. When people think of history they look at Michael Jordan as history or Mark McGwire and not the people who brought the sport to the forefront. The goal of this site will be to bridge the gap between past athletes and current iteration of athletes. I am a life long Gator fan, Magic fan and have recently become a fan of Mixed Martial Arts.
